This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out the procedures for the collection, processing, storage and protection of personal data of Users of the ppc-unit.com website (the "Site"), as well as the terms of disclosure of personal data, in accordance with applicable law of Ukraine and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. General provisions
1.1. The Site owner (the "Administration") respects the User's right to privacy and adheres to the principles of personal-data processing set out in the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" No. 2297-VI dated 01.06.2010 (the "Law"), and in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) for Users from the European Union.
1.2. By using the Site, submitting feedback forms, or otherwise providing personal data, the User confirms that they have read this Policy, accept its terms, and grant the Administration consent to process their personal data on the terms set out below.
1.3. If the User does not agree with the terms of this Policy, they shall refrain from using the Site and from providing their personal data.
2. Definitions
Site — the website located on the Internet at ppc-unit.com and all of its subpages.
User — any natural person who visits the Site or provides the Administration with their personal data through feedback forms.
Administration — the Site owner, who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Personal data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing of personal data — any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, including collection, recording, storage, use, transfer, anonymisation, or erasure.
Cookies — small text files stored by the User's browser when visiting the Site, used for convenience of use and for analytics.
3. Categories of personal data processed
3.1. The Administration processes the following categories of personal data, which the User provides voluntarily:
- first name and surname;
- email address;
- contact phone number, messenger handle (Telegram, Viber, etc.);
- the content of the User's message;
- other data the User chooses to provide in the feedback form.
3.2. The Administration automatically obtains and processes the following data:
- IP address;
- browser type, operating system, browser language, device type;
- date and time of the visit, pages viewed;
- referral source, URL parameters carrying information about the advertising source;
- cookies and similar technologies.
3.3. The Administration does not collect or process special categories of personal data (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, biometric data, etc.).
4. Purposes of processing
The Administration processes the User's personal data for the following purposes:
- responding to the User's enquiry submitted through a feedback form;
- concluding and performing services contracts;
- communicating with the User in connection with their enquiry, including clarifying details;
- analysing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and traffic sources;
- ensuring uninterrupted operation of the Site, protecting it against unauthorised access and malicious activity;
- compliance with the requirements of applicable law.
5. Legal basis for processing
The Administration processes the User's personal data on the following legal grounds set out in Article 11 of the Law and Article 6 of the GDPR:
- consent of the data subject — freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, expressed by submitting a feedback form or by another clear affirmative action;
- performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or measures taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract;
- legitimate interests of the Administration — for marketing analytics, site security and communication with potential clients;
- compliance with a legal obligation to which the Administration is subject.
6. Transfer of personal data to third parties
6.1. The Administration does not sell, rent or transfer the User's personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
6.2. The Administration may engage third parties to operate the Site and to perform its obligations to the User, including:
- hosting and cloud-service providers;
- email and messaging service providers;
- web-analytics services and marketing tools.
All engaged third parties are obliged to process personal data exclusively on behalf of the Administration, on confidential terms, and in accordance with applicable law.
6.3. The Administration may transfer the User's personal data on lawful requests from authorised state authorities in the cases provided for by applicable law.
6.4. Where third parties are located outside Ukraine or the EU, transfers are carried out in compliance with Standard Contractual Clauses and other legal mechanisms provided for by the GDPR.
7. Use of cookies
7.1. The Site uses cookies for the correct operation of certain features, to store the User's preferences, and for visit analytics.
7.2. The Site may use the following types of cookies:
- technical (necessary) — provide the core functionality of the Site and cannot be disabled;
- analytical — help the Administration understand how Users interact with the Site;
- marketing — used to assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
7.3. The User can configure or disable cookies in their browser settings. Disabling certain types of cookies may limit the functionality of the Site.
7.4. The information collected via cookies does not by itself allow the identification of the User without their separate consent.
8. Retention and protection of personal data
8.1. The Administration retains the User's personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, or until the data subject withdraws consent, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8.2. Data submitted through feedback forms is retained for no longer than 12 months after the end of the interaction with the User, except where a longer retention period is required for compliance with applicable law or for the protection of the Administration's rights.
8.3. To protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, the Administration applies organisational and technical safeguards, including:
- encryption of data in transit (HTTPS / TLS);
- restricting access to personal data to persons who need it to perform their duties;
- regular review and update of information-security measures.
8.4. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. The Administration applies all reasonable efforts to protect personal data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Rights of the data subject
In accordance with Article 8 of the Law and Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, the User, as a data subject, has the right:
- to be informed of the sources of collection, the location of their personal data, and the purposes of processing;
- to receive information about the terms on which access to personal data is granted, including details of third parties to whom data is transferred;
- to access their personal data;
- to require the Administration to rectify, block or erase their personal data where it is processed unlawfully or is inaccurate;
- to require erasure of their personal data ("right to be forgotten");
- to restriction of processing;
- to data portability — to receive their personal data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- to object to processing;
- to withdraw previously given consent to the processing of personal data at any time;
- to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, with a court, or with a competent supervisory authority in their country of residence.
To exercise any of these rights, the User may contact the Administration using the contacts listed in section 11 of this Policy. The Administration responds within 30 (thirty) calendar days of receipt of the request.
10. Changes to the Policy
10.1. The Administration reserves the right to amend this Policy unilaterally. A new version of the Policy enters into force from the moment it is published on the Site, unless the new version itself provides otherwise.
10.2. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of the current version of the Policy.
10.3. Continued use of the Site after changes are introduced constitutes the User's agreement to the new version of the Policy.
